Are there parts of you that you wish would just…go away? Your “inner critic”? Your “monkey-mind”? Your bad habits?
Tired of the cacophony of voices arguing in your head?
Ready to move on to a place of ease and internal integration?
Then join our first-ever Riff Space™ Book Club, as we explore “No Bad Parts: Healing Trauma and Restoring Wholeness with the Internal Family Systems Model.” This new book, written by the creator of the Internal Family Systems Model, Richard Schwartz, lets us access the best ways to identify all the parts of us that are struggling to get our attention so we can heal them and lead our lives from the truth of who we really are.
This four-session book club will be a deep dive into the concepts and tools for identifying, tending, and befriending the annoying parts of us that are working hard to protect us and to manage our emotional exposure. These protective parts have taken on roles they were never meant to tackle, like the hyper-achiever, the pleaser, the stickler, the avoider, the victim, the controller, and the mother of all protectors, the judge. You’ll learn methods for interacting with all your parts, and begin to focus on becoming Self-led as you integrate your parts and teach them how to work together to create the life of ease and joy you’ve been longing for.
